Position Overview
We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Apprentice Electricians. This position offers the opportunity to learn the electrical trade under the guidance of experienced Journeyman Electricians and Master Electricians. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will gain hands-on experience while working toward becoming a licensed Journeyman Electrician.

Location: McAllen, TX
Pay: $15.00-$25.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
- Learn to read blueprints, schematics, and specifications
- Gather materials and equipment for projects
- Use hand and power tools to perform basic electrical tasks
- Pull wire through conduit and assist with mounting fixtures
- Learn and follow all safety protocols and electrical codes
- Attend required classroom training as part of apprenticeship program
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Document work performed under supervision
- Develop technical skills and knowledge of the electrical trade
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Willingness to learn and accept constructive feedback
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in various positions
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
Preferred Qualifications
- Enrollment in or willingness to enroll in a state-approved electrical apprenticeship program
- Previous experience in construction or related field
- Basic understanding of electrical principles
- OSHA 10 certification
- First Aid/CPR certification
