Journeyman Electrician

About This Role

As a Journeyman Electrician at Benmar Electric, you'll work on the projects that define Texas' infrastructure. From border security systems and solar farms to large-scale commercial and industrial developments, you'll bring your expertise to projects that matter.

What You'll Do

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems on large-scale commercial, industrial, and government projects
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications
• Bend and install conduit, pull wire, and terminate connections per NEC standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in the field
• Ensure all work meets local, state, and national electrical code requirements
• Mentor apprentices and helpers on the job site
• Coordinate with foremen and project managers to maintain project timelines

What We're Looking For

• Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician license
• Minimum 4 years of commercial or industrial electrical experience
• Strong knowledge of NEC codes and local electrical regulations
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to job sites across Texas
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred
